Legal Certainty (Legal Security)
This is one of the main principles based on which
the rule of law is founded. It implies an obligation by the public legislative authorities to issue legislation characterised by the highest degree of relative stability, supporting stability for the various legal authorities and powers vested in natural and legal persons under the applicable legislation and instigating the confidence of the public in the legislation in force. This can be achieved by promulgating sustainable legislation that may be implemented for the longest period possible without frequent amendments and changes that may jeopardise the interests of those governed by this legislation.
